Each year, the Principal Investigators of all of the projects funded by the same NIFA grant program that supports CHIRP attend the annual Society for Nutrition Education and Behavior conference to share their experiences and results with researchers involved in similar work. The above is a poster detailing CHIRP work created for the 2016 conference.

Each poster that CHIRP has created highlights a common theme that developed over the course of that year through the CHIRP-funded programming and feedback provided by the partners and participants. CHIRP’s final poster presented in 2016 illustrated how, over the course of the years, the CHIRP partners ultimately fostered development of a transformational community in Detroit with shared values and commitments around health and justice that include but also extend far beyond specific program activities.

Together, these posters created over the years of CHIRP illustrate how CHIRP has evolved over the years.
